It questions the addictive quality of nicotine in itself. It has to have other chemicals found in burning tobacco to make it addictive.
One scientist is Pr Molimard http://www.formindep.org/Le-mythe-de-l-addiction-a-la.html, the other is Pr Jean-Pol Tassin cf. http://lettre-cdf.revues.org/283 (sorry links aren't live)

I have questioned the addictiveness of nicotine too in my posts on "the Myth of nicotine addiction."

I have just written again to my MEP.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05682780023627710142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8230397033114113847.post-70747529567277397702013-02-16T14:08:56.074+00:002013-02-16T14:08:56.074+00:00"As nicotine is the drug that makes cigarette..."As nicotine is the drug that makes cigarettes addictive, somebody that tries e-cigarettes could be much more likely to go on to smoke regular cigarettes": this sentence is a lie : nicotine is the drug that makes TOBACCO cigarettes addictive. But nicotine without the other components of tobacco IS NOT addictive. Patchs are not addictive for example.

It should be pointed that pharma ecigs should then be as addictive as supposedly todays products : should they be sold then? These arguments do not stand.Luc Dussarthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04295633905994411651noreply@blogger.com
