I know this happens because of the delight they feel in being what is called an "ex-smoker"."Ex-smoker" is a title made desirable by society now - where as, once, no one really gave a shit.

In a way vaping has divided us.

It's pretty peeving now to find we are banned, just like the smokers we claim not to be.

Awkward situation really. Innit?

Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05682780023627710142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8230397033114113847.post-2821549045269305702013-06-02T20:23:29.105+01:002013-06-02T20:23:29.105+01:00"If proper ventilated smoking rooms had been ..."If proper ventilated smoking rooms had been provided for smokers, and smokers had been seen to have the right to persue their habit - somewhere - then vaping in public would be no issue now."

Absolutely spot on! It's classic "first they came for" stuff. Those who like a drink of alcohol are slowly seeing exactly the same effect of kowtowing to prohibitionists, they simply never quit so appeasement should never be an option. They have to be fought on every front, whether one cares for the substance or behaviour or not.

Despite warning about this for years, I'm one of the few smokers who doesn't have a quiet chuckle at others suffering the same fate because there lies a path which just helps these evil people even more. Divide and conquer, I think they like to call it.
Dick Puddlecotehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01481866882188932892noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8230397033114113847.post-16681117528347246562013-06-01T22:44:07.956+01:002013-06-01T22:44:07.956+01:00Oh, Andrew you are right. What a terrible pity cig...Oh, Andrew you are right. What a terrible pity cigarette is in the name. But to me, another problem is that the e cigs most people know ARE ones that look like cigarettes. People say "What's THAT!" when they see my little ego and tank and they are surprised my set-up doesn't look like the e cig they have seen in pictures. The other thing that worries me, is that Big Tobacco is now in on the act. Right from the start I had misgivings - and they haven't gone away.

And another thought is that nicotine was so demonised by the anti-smokers, it is now going against us. People cringe at the word "nicotine". I think things are well screwed up at the moment.

I'm so glad my YouTube channel helped you - that's nice to know!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05682780023627710142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8230397033114113847.post-31406130865678581472013-06-01T21:18:57.801+01:002013-06-01T21:18:57.801+01:00Nice post and I completely agree.

It's not surprising therefore that they also think the same when they hear the word e-cigarette.

The best way to tackle anti-smoking zealots who are now encroaching on our "turf" is to simply educate the general public. If the public are informed the zealots will soon lose there voice on e-cigs.

I think you are doing a get job educating people about the facts regarding e-cigs. In fact, your YouTube channel was one of the first vaping channels I subscribed to when I started vaping five months ago and your videos were a great source of encouragement to me.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03241090133996947659noreply@blogger.com
